| She married Mr. Philippe Mermod in 2003 and moved to Lausanne - Switzerland. She is coming from an academic family, as her father Prof.Dr.Ali Sait Yüksel is a wellknown law and finance professor in Germany and Turkey, her sister Assistant Professor Ulkü Yüksel has started her academic career in Istanbul Technical University and continued in Michigan State University. At the moment, she is working as marketing professor in the University of Sydney (Australia) and her mother Dr. Nuran Yüksel is a retired dentist and a painter. |

| Dr. Asli Yüksel Mermod’s research areas cover Banking, Bank Management, Bank Marketing, Socially Responsible Investing, Ethical, Ecological Finance, Brands and Brands Equity, Financial Markets and Institutions, Service Marketing, Tourism Investments and Corporate Finance. She teaches International Banking (BUS438), Project Finance (BUS 448) and Bank Management (BUS437), Principles of Finance (FINC3210) and Financial Markets and Institutions (FINC3800) courses for undergraduates and Bank Funds Management, Project Finance and Management, Banking courses for MBA and Executive MBA classes. |
